Often the great sculptures of Flavio Lucchini are born from an idea, they are fixed with a drawing, become framework, solidify into challenging works in 3 dimensions. Many are the works of a pictorial thought born as such. As many those paintings that prelude or suggest a development in sculpture, as in the case of colorful Toys, symbolic totems, provocative naive Dolls. The whole of Lucchini's artistic process starts from that "Cahier" which brings back with precious drawings some clothes from the collections of Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Romeo Gigli between the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s. From drawing to painting to sculpture the step was short.
