The Atelier of the FLA Museum at Superstudio Più hosted the 2025 edition of Sentient Horizons, the format curated by Istituto Marangoni Milano Design that explores the intersection between art, design, science, and artificial intelligence. Over 150 people, including professionals and students, gathered insights, news, and inspiration from an international panel of industry experts.
Title of this new edition: Seamless Singularities, an investigation into that hybrid area where the interaction between human and artificial generates new visions of what’s possible. Taking the stage were three key figures of the international scene: Sougwen Chung, artist featured in TIME100 AI and pioneer in the collaboration between human gesture and automated systems; Mónica Bello, art historian and former director of Arts at CERN, now a leading voice in contemporary scientific art; Massimo Chiriatti, CTO at Lenovo and author of Incoscienza Artificiale, expert in the ethical and cultural implications of AI. Moderated by journalist Serena Scarpello, the panel addressed key questions about creativity in the age of machines—especially how AI can truly be creative, how the artist’s role is evolving, and the ethical responsibilities that emerge.
The event confirms Superstudio and the FLA Museum as places of cross-disciplinary culture and contemporary experimentation, able to host global debates in the heart of Milan, while Istituto Marangoni Milano Design reaffirms its role not only as one of the most prestigious schools, but also as an incubator of critical thinking and vision, where education and the future intertwine in the practice of tomorrow’s design and art.
