The FLA Museum at Superstudio, on the occasion of the Superdesign Show, opens its doors to “Voluptas,” an exhibition that seduces and invites visitors to discover a universe of beauty, desire, and refined sensuality. In a surprising way, ancient art dialogues with contemporary art, master craftsmanship blends with modern design, creating a journey that enhances Italian manufacturing excellence, extraordinary artists, and historic residences converted into resorts where one can savor the essence of Italian hospitality.
“Voluptas” is the first project by HUB161, an innovative platform conceived by Raffaella Verri Zorzi, which connects and promotes the excellence of Made in Italy, as well as producers of sustainable materials, architecture and interior design studios, and professionals in the contract and hospitality sectors. Not just an exhibition, but a sensory experience that celebrates Italian craftsmanship, where every detail tells stories of passion, research, and vision.
Among the projects on display, selected by architect Veronica Serioli, are the exquisite marble, crystal, and onyx furnishings with an essential design by Marmi Regina; the iconic floral seating by Carla Tolomeo, true sculptural art design pieces; the 17th-century antique majolica tiles from Palazzo Raffadali in Palermo sourced from the archive of Maurizio Scianna, an artisan who has collaborated with prestigious brands such as The Ritz-Carlton and Hermès; the artistic collaborations of the historic Duca di Salaparuta winery with the “Poliedrica” triptych by artist Arrigo Musti and the collection of furniture inspired by the world of jewelry by J&well; the innovative surfaces by Hybrid & Icon, a synthesis of ancestral traditions, sustainability, and quality. Enriching the collective exhibition are the creations of Rubelli, Brun Fine Art, Eleit.it, Francesco Maria Messina, Marcello Colombo, Mirei Monticelli, Oro di Sciacca, Rudi Moriconi, Vibieffe, Pimar Limestone, and Mohdern.
An evocative video will also showcase the historic hospitality residences affiliated with the HUB161 platform, including Villa del Gattopardo, Villa Tasca, Villa Stecchini, Palazzo Petrus, Masseria Scolario, Tenuta il Poggio, Grand Hotel Majestic Verbania, and Villa Atena.
