Flavio Lucchini has experienced fashion from every possible perspective. First, as the creator of some of the most important magazines (Amica, Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Donna, Moda, and many others), and simultaneously as art director and mentor to legendary designers, journalists, photographers, and graphic artists. Then, since 1990, as an artist devoted to conveying the essence of fashion and the mystery of the female dress through his works, always in dialogue with contemporary society.
The DOLLS, both naïve and bold, white or colorful, are sculptures that explore the journey of adolescence and the discovery of personality through clothing and self-image. DOLLS & DOLLS is a tribute to youth and imagination, exhibited at MyOwnGallery, the gallery of Superstudio Più, on the occasion of the Festival dello Spettacolo and beyond.
