With the closing of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, the city passes the baton to MuseoCity, the annual event which, from 27 February to 5 March, opens the doors of Milan’s museums with a widespread programme of exhibitions, special initiatives and thematic projects. The FLA FlavioLucchiniArt Museum is once again taking part in the event this year with extraordinary openings and guided tours every day, at 2:30 pm, 4:30 pm, and 6:30 pm, to explore the entire museum and the Flavio Lucchini Archive.
Here is what you can discover at the FLA Museum during MuseoCity 2026:
Exhibition WHITE & WHITE
In the Atelier space, “White & White” opens, a temporary exhibition dedicated to white as both material and expressive language. On display is a selection of Dress Memory, Totem, Painting, Dolls, Flowers, and Faces by Flavio Lucchini that explore the potential of materials such as fiberglass, plaster, and layered acrylic.

SECRET MUSEUM
In dialogue with the theme of MuseoCity 2026 “The Enterprises of Culture”, the FLA Museum participates in the Museo Segreto section with works from the “Superstudio” series, digital paintings by Flavio Lucchini from the Underground Archive that reinterpret Superstudio’s identity as a cultural enterprise.

MUSEUMS IN WINDOWS
With Musei in Vetrina, art leaves the museums and takes over the streets of Milan, transforming the city into a route to be discovered window by window. Among the stops not to be missed, two works by Flavio Lucchini - Dress Memory no.44 and no.45 - are exhibited in the window of the historic Atelier Emé, at 26 via della Spiga. In art.box, the window gallery of Superstudio Più, other Dress Memory pieces convey the artist’s aesthetic through the most sophisticated fabric processes, fixed forever in matter.
